I was lucky enough to get my hands on a set of Talon Ride handlebar hooks for my GS after seeing them on social media. All I can say sometimes it is what seems like the simplest addition to your bike that makes the biggest difference. Every time you stop, whether it be for gas, lunch or whatever you are looking for somewhere to put your gloves, jacket, and helmet quickly and conveniently. Most of the time you put your helmet over the mirror and gloves on the tank only to drop a glove in an oily mess and God forbid your $1000 helmet drops off the mirror and skips off the pavement. Or you put your gloves on your seat, trunk, or pannier only to ride away without putting them back on.
In comes Talon Ride, which inconspicuously mounts in place of your bar end and securely handles all three of your immediate needs! First off, I was impressed with the quality of Talon Ride as most of the time when you order something online it’s something that cheapens the look and feel of your bike and you question how long it will last and if your gear will ultimately end up on the ground when it fails. Talon Ride is a strong milled aluminum unit, and the spring-loaded hook(s) click closed.
It's obvious that a lot of R & D went into this product based on the quality and design. Things like the fact that the hook is wide enough to easily open it with your gloves on and that it's strong enough to hold your helmet and jacket without concern while being aesthetically pleasing goes a long way. Clean, neat, and excellent attention to detail- Great job Vista Moto!
