BMW MOA Rally Recap – Lebanon, TN
We came from different places, in different ways, and on different machines — but we came together to celebrate a shared passion for riding and for BMW motorcycles.
All the flavors of BMW appreciation were on the menu at the 52nd BMW Motorcycle Owners Association Annual Rally in Lebanon, Tennessee, this past June 19–21.
With the bikes: From race-ready RR models, to long-distance touring “K” machines, to GS off-road adventurers, to vintage airheads and custom builds — every era and type was represented.
With the trip: Some rode from just around the corner in Nashville. Others rode across the nation, through rain and sun, camping along the way. Some flew in and rented, just to be part of it.
With the lodging: The Wilson County Fairgrounds offered a welcome home — whether you brought a tent, parked an RV, or stayed in a nearby hotel or Airbnb.
With the learning, sharing and entertainment: Rider training. Expert speakers. Great vendors. Friendly volunteers. And each evening brought incredible live music from a wide range of talented artists.
With the riding: Rolling farmland, scenic rivers and lakes, and some of the best twisty pavement in the country — including the legendary Route 129/Tail of the Dragon.
Our shared passions brought us together but our diverse interests enable us to grow and expand our knowledge and understanding of BMW’s legendary history and bright future. And we take with us renewed values of connection and community.
Whether or not you made it to Tennessee, the next adventure is calling!
Start planning now for another incredible gathering — this time in Vermont!
Where will you be coming from? What will your experience be? What will you be riding? Let’s meet in Essex Junction to reconnect, make new memories, and celebrate the passion that unites us all.
